FAQ

What do I expect at my first visit?

Expect to be seen by a medical doctor and a chiropractor. We believe in a team approach to your injurycare. We accept all auto insurance carriers and most health insurance for your treatment. Wewill verify your insurance and have you fill out some simple paperwork. The doctor will then see you todetermine diagnostic and/or treatment needs. Medication may be prescribed and therapycan begin the same day. Typically, we will not perform chiropractic manipulation the first day, due to the severity of your pain. We prefer to have some diagnostics run first, to see if you could benefit from chiropractic care.

Do you take insurance?

We accept all auto insurance and most PPO health insurance, including BCBS, Aetna, and Cigna. We are establishing credentialing with other carriers such as Medicare, Humana, and United. If we are not onyour insurance plan, we still can take you as a patient and bill for "out of network" benefits.

What if I don’t have insurance?

If you do nothave insurance, then you are in luck. We also provide budget plans depending on your financialsituation. For your accident,we do accept a "letter of protection" or "LOP" from your attorney.

Do I have to see the chiropractor?

Not necessarily. Although, it is ideal to at least get evaluated by all of our physicians, including thechiropractors, your condition may not allow you to receive chiropractic care. Chiropractic care doesvary in the style of treatment, depending on the need of your injury. Manipulation may increase yourrange of motion, but we may have to wait until your pain reduces in intensity before it can performsuch a procedure.

How many times do I have to come?

Injuries vary from patient to patient. Some injuries may take 6-8 weeks of treatment to heal, some take 3-6 months to heal. Most of the time our physicians stay conservative in their prescriptions for treatment and will require the minimum of 3 timesa week for 4-6 weeks and then re-evaluate progress. At that point treatment may be reduced and/or you may be referred out for a second opinion.

How long is my treatment?

Our treatment involves doing chiropractic care, physiotherapy, and rehab. Most treatment will lastbetween 45 to 60 minutes, 3 days a week initially, before a reduction in treatment can beestablished. You are always welcome to come in before or after work as we are open extended hours.Ask for a doctor's note from one of our physicians if you need to be late to work or need to leaveearly.
